This Five (5) Hibiscus Rated hotel property is situated
directly adjacent to a wide expanse of soft sand beach in
the Wailea section of southwest Maui. The Wailea Resort
section of Maui is a master planned development with
shopping, restaurants, golf and beautiful beaches. The Four
Seasons Wailea is situated between the Grand Wailea and the
Kea Lani resort hotel properties.
Physical Description
and Management
The Four Seasons Wailea consists of two (2), eight (8)
story buildings with a classical Italian villa style of
architecture containing 380 guest rooms. The property is an
impeccable, full-service luxury resort situated on 15 lushly
landscaped beachfront acres. The property is very
professionally managed by the Four Seasons
organization.

Common Areas and Room Locations
The Four Seasons Wailea is an ideal destination for
anyone. The atmosphere at the property is regal. Although
geared to handle children, including a separate children's
pool and a year around children's activities program, the
clientele on our visits has predominately been couples
traveling without children. Common areas include beautiful
grounds, three (3) championship golf courses across from the
property, two (2) pools, including a free-form lagoon style
pool with rock waterfalls, three (3) restaurants, a business
center, eleven (11) meeting rooms totaling 16,787 feet for
up to 700 people, two (2) plexi-paved lighted tennis courts
and a fully equipped health spa, including steam room and
massage. Guest room categories include Mountain View, Garden
View, Partial Ocean View, Ocean View and Ocean
Front.

Our Last Visit
We have visited this property on many occasions and it
is truly one of the finest, full-service luxury resorts in
all of the Islands. The Four Seasons Wailea has been awarded
the coveted Five (5) Hibiscus Rating by Insite To Hawaii.
This prestigious rating is limited to the Top Ten Luxury
Resorts in all of Hawaii as determined by Insite To Hawaii's
independent research staff. The Wailea area of Maui is the
relatively new, up and comer, and is less traveled than the
Kaanapali resort further north. With low building densities,
the area provides an aura of exclusivity. Wailea is blessed
with beautiful soft sand beaches and an abundance of
sunshine. The Four Seasons Wailea is quiet, peaceful,
beautiful and luxurious. The rooms and lanais are ample in
size, the decor impeccable and the service highly
personalized.
Room Sizes and
Amenities
Standard guest rooms average slightly less than 500
square feet in size. Lanais add an additional 100 square
feet. Room amenities include air conditioning, bathrobes,
twice daily maid service, hair dryer, in-room safe, color TV
with pay-option movies, iron and board, deep soaking tub,
ceiling fan, VCP, make-up mirror, overnight shoe shine, and
mini-bar. Junior Suites average 738 square feet, One (1)
Bedrooms average 1,187 square feet and Two (2) Bedrooms
average 1,990 square feet. All rooms come with an ample size
lanai.
